Experience
DBM’s investment process also draws from the partners’ past experience in sector consolidation, arbitrage and special situation trades. The two founding partners of DBM have combined 20 years of experience in Russian and CIS financial markets.

Ryan Dodd
Former Partner and Director of International and Russian Institutional Sales at Aton Capital. Originated, structured and executed deals in 2004-2006 in utilities, oil and gas of over $1 bn. During tenure as Director of Sales, Aton Capital was consistently ranked #1 in Russian Equity Market trading volume. BA with high honors, Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH, USA. Moscow resident for 11 years. Fluent English and Russian.
Tim McCutcheon
Pioneered coverage in Russian/CIS gold mining and uranium sectors. Originated mining deals of over $200mn for Aton Capital in 2005-2006. Ranked fourth best analyst in EMEA by Institutional Investor survey and third by Thomson Extel in 2006. BA, cum laude Columbia College, New York, NY. MBA, Finance, Columbia Business School. Moscow resident for 8 years. Fluent English and Russian.
